Redirect bug

If I navigate to Schubert I am taken to Franz Schubert with a note (Redirected from Schubert), which is well and good. However, there is no Add new work tab. If this happens, one must reload the page (upper left most tab "page"). Richard Mix (talk) 02:26, 5 September 2020 (UTC)

This seems like a general system problem, not just with Schubert but with any redirect. The same issue occurs with work page redirects, e.g., German Requiem (Johannes Brahms). Your comment needs to be in a forum post; only a few people will see it here. Please start a forum thread. — Barry Johnston (talk) 03:18, 5 September 2020 (UTC)

Missing Add new work tab

Pierre Bonnet is missing the Add new work tab; Template:AffiliateLink2 doesn't seem to be the culprit. Richard Mix (talk) 05:36, 25 October 2020 (UTC)

I've changed [[Category:Composers (unhosted)]] to [[Category:Composers]] at the bottom of the page. Claude (talk) 06:33, 25 October 2020 (UTC)

Edit summary

" New work page created" is the default edit summary, but could it be made editable, e.g. "per Request:Francion vint l'autre jour (Pierre Bonnet)? Even better of course would be to automate status of Category:Requested pages. Richard Mix (talk) 05:36, 25 October 2020 (UTC)

Disambiguation

I discovered with Gaudeamus omnes (Peter Philips) that entering an already taken title adds an edition to that page while discarding information in the "pub" line (conveniently included though in the confirmation email). Is there a way to show an alert when using the composer page add work tab instead of the work page add edition tab? Richard Mix (talk) 03:01, 10 April 2021 (UTC)
