Died: 5 February 1705, Toulouse
Biography
French composer. At the Cathedral of Saint-Sauveur at Aix-en-Provence, he trained as choirboy and eventually became music master. Several moves later, he began as music master at Cathedral of St Etienne at Toulouse in 1697. Influenced by André Campra. Wrote primarily motets and a renown requiem before dying at age 37.
