Christum Iudaeis tradidit.

Judas, the vile merchant,
required a kiss from the Lord
who, like an innocent lamb,
did not deny the kiss to Judas.

For a large amount of dinarii,
he betrayed Christ to the Jews.
Versus
It would have been better for him,
had he not been born.

Judas, de vuige handelaar,
vroeg een kus aan de Heer.
En Hij, onschuldig als een lam,
ontzegde Judas de kus niet.

Voor een groot bedrag aan denariën
leverde hij Christus over aan de Joden.
Versus:
Het ware beter voor hem geweest
als hij niet ware geboren.
