Talk:Scaramella (Loyset Compère)

I notice that both of the versions of Loyset Compère's Scaramella found here have parts which are an octave higher than what is found for this piece in IMSLP306303-PMLP495480-frottole_4_stramboti XLVII verso/XLVIII recto (Petrucci). In CPDL #14855 contributed by Brian Russell, both the Alto and Tenor parts have a treble (G2) clef, while in CPDL # 12526, from Benoît Huwart, just the Alto is in treble clef, while the Tenor is in octave-down (8vb) treble clef. Both the Alto and Tenor parts should be in 8vb treble clef to agree with what is found in Petrucci's publication.

No information is given by either editor to indicate the sources from which they produced their respective versions, but if this is a deliberate transposition, I would hope that it would be noted in the edition notes, whereas if this is an error, it would be good to see it corrected.

Bar 15: Cantus - last note should be a minum (without rests) not a quaver. IMSLP edition quoted above accords with this.
Bar 16: Time signature should obviously be 6/4, not 3/2.
