7 Timor Domini principium sapientiae, sapientiam atque doctrinam stulti despiciunt.
8 Audi, fili mi, disciplinam patris tui et ne dimittas legem matris tuae.

Hungarian translation

7 A bölcsesség kezdete az Úr félelme. A balgák a bölcsességet és az intést megvetik.
8 Figyelj, fiam, atyád intelmére, s el ne hagyd anyád tanítását.

English translation

7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother.
