Altra aurora bisogna, altro oriente,
agli occhi miei per cui senza voi sono,
il Ciel oscuro e le sue luci spente.

Misero, che pensando a quel ch'io sono,
ed a quel ch'io sarò, preso il viaggio,
quasi m'offende del bel guardo il dono.
