General Information

Title: Bleib bei uns Herr

Number of voices: 4vv   Voicing: SATB
(relative ranges 1-9, 6-11, 9-13, 12-17)

Description: It seems that Praetorius copied Antonio Scandello's "Bona Sera" and changed the text as well as some rythms and notes. Both composers worked in Dresden, so it is supposable that Praetorius found the piece there.

laß dein Licht leuchten auch zu unsern Zeiten,
dafür wir deinen Namen wolln loben ewig, Amen.
