A riva d'un ruscel puro e lucente,
Bagnava l'oro e lo spiegava al sole,
Invittomm'al cristallo e con la mano,
Spargendo l'onda m'arse dolcemente,
Et m'ancise di morte che non dole,
Et disse no'l sai: Queste son l'acque,
In cui Venere bella al mondo nacque.
