Edition notes: As written in 1791, with some assumptions about what parts the instruments play. Apparently this work was revised by Holyoke in 1806, in a publication not available.

Description: First published in Harmonia Americana, 1791, pp. 69-72, for accompaniment by two violins, trombone, and bassoon (see Eskew and Kroeger 1998). Words adapted from a hymn by Thomas Scott, Angel! roll the rock away. Holyoke set n stanzas of Scott's hymn.
