prenons plaisir et liesse certaine,

So the youthful bloom upon your skin,
Your comely face, your springtime, will be past
Too soon, the swift years' ravages begin.
And so my love, let all your human charms
Go not to waste, but let us them enjoy:

Before relentless time can all destroy.
