Latin.png Latin text

Congratulamini videte omnes.
Cum essem parvula placui Altissimo,
et Christum genui qui nos redemit.
Ideo me beatam mortales dicent,
quia ancillam humilem respexit,
intacta es puerpera Maria:
nam ex te ortus sol lucis aeterne
qui et illuminat omnes in terra.

English.png English translation

All behold and rejoice.
When I was small I pleased the Most High,
and bore Christ, who will redeem us.
Since he has regarded his lowly handmaiden,
Therefore mankind call me blessed:
"Mary, virgin and childbearing,
For out of you is the rising of light eternal,
which sheds light on all on earth".
