Decantabat populus laudem, alleluia.
Et universa multitudo canebat legitime.
Et David cum cantoribus citharam percutiebat in domo Domini
et laudes Deo canebat. Alleluia.
German translation
Das Volk sang Lobpreis, Alleluja,
Und die ganze Menge lobsang gebührend.
Auch David schlug mit den Sängern die Harfe im Hause des Herrn
Und sang dem Herrn Lob. Alleluja.
English translation
The people sang praise, halleluja,
And the whole multitude sang duly.
And David stroke the harp together with the singers in the house of the Lord
And sang praises to the Lord. Halleluja.
