Grates nunc omnes reddamus Domino Deo
qui sua nativitate nos liberavit de diabolica potestate.
Huic oportet ut canamus cum angelis semper gloria in excelsis.

Let us all now give thanks to the Lord God,
who through His birth freed us from the Devil's power.
For that reason it is right that we should ever sing, with the angels, glory in the highest.
