Iam lucis orto sidere
O Angele piissime!
Caecasmentis caligines
Splendore tuo dissipes;
Quae recta sunt, me edoce,
Ut faciam, me admone.

English translation

Now that the daylight fills the sky,
Saint guardian angel,
You draw the darkness away
Into dazzling brightness.
You learn me what is right,
And advise me to do so.
