Description: Words by Joseph Hart, 1759, the fifth stanza of the hymn Come and welcome to Jesus Christ, with seven stanzas. There are many versions of Hart's hymn; the one used by Pilsbury is an American one, exemplified by the version printed in Coke and Asbury's Pocket Hymn-Book of 1790.
