General information
Authore Orlando De Lasso. 4vv
Description: This collection opens with homophonic settings of 9 Lessons from Job for Matins of the Dead, set by Lassus in a more imitative style in Sacrae lectiones novem ex propheta Iob, 1565. A later date for the 1582 set cannot safely be assumed, as these were held back for Duke Albert V's chapel until his death in 1579.
