1. Let us all in concert sing. Alleluia.
Let the people echoing ring,
Praising the Eternal King. Alleluia.

2. Sing, ye choirs above the skies, Alleluia.
Harp, ye blessed companies
Through the fields of Paradise. Alleluia.

3. Sound, ye glittering stars of light. Alleluia.
Clouds in course, and birds in flight,
Thunders deep, and lightnings bright. Alleluia.

4. Floods and billows, snow and shower. Alleluia.
Skies that glow, and storms that lower,
Frost and sunbeam, tree and flower. Alleluia.

5. Beasts of earth, make answer deep. Alleluia.
Shout forth, every mountain steep,
And ye vales beneath that sleep. Alleluia.

6. Cry, thou ocean, jubilant. Alleluia.
every isle and continent,
Echo onward resonant. Alleluia.

7. Let the sons of men upraise. Alleluia.
Joining with exultant lays
In the great Creator's praise. Alleluia.

8. This the strain the Father loves. Alleluia.
As its chorus round Him moves.
This, which Christ Himself approves. Alleluia.

9. Therefore, brethren, sing with joy. Alleluia.
Ever in your glad employ,
Answer, every maid and boy. Alleluia.

10. Now by all be honour done. Alleluia.
To the Father and the Son,
And the Spirit, Three in One. Alleluia.
