Edition notes: This edition is based on the choir book manuscript in the Conservatorio di Milano (Fondo Santa Barbara). Plainchant lines are present in all movements, not only where the text is alternating as in Gloria and Credo, but also in Kyrie, Sanctus and Agnus. The painchant lines may have been sung by the people. The mass is intended for liturgical use in the private chapel of the Gonzaga Family, the Santa Barbara in Mantua.
