Latin text O dulcis Jesu, o puer amantissime, qui pro nobis nasci de virgine et inter bruta animalia in praesepio jacere voluisti, fac nos mundi delicias contemnere.

English translation O sweet Jesus, O most loving child, who for us was born of a virgin, and chose to lie in a manger among brute beasts, make us despise the pleasures of the world.
