O socii durate,
o socii neque enim ignari sumus ante malorum
o passi graviora dabit deus his quoque finem,
experti revocate animos moestumque timorem
mittite, forsan et haec olim meminisse juvabit.
Per varios casus per tot discrimina rerum
tendimus, ostendunt sedes ubi fata secundas
durate et vosmet rebus servate secundis.

Cantus firmus:
Durate.
