Description: First published in The Singing-Master's Assistant, 1778, pp. 39-40. Words by Isaac Watts, 1719, paraphrase of Psalm 5. Watts' poem has eight stanzas, each 86. 86. (Common Meter); Billings doubles these, two stanzas of poem to one of music.
