Latin.png Latin text

54:7  …Quis dabit mihi pennas sicut columbae, et volabo, et requiescam?
54:8  Ecce elongavi fugiens, et manebo in solitudine.
54:9a  Exspectans Deum qui me salvam faciat.

English.png English translation

55:6  …O that I had wings like a dove: for then would I flee away, and be at rest.
55:7  Lo, then would I get me away far off: and remain in the wilderness.
55:8a  Waiting for God, that he might save me.
73:24  Whom have I in heaven but thee? And there is none upon earth that I desire in comparison of thee.
73:25b  But God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
73:26  For lo, they that forsake thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that commit fornication against thee.
73:27a  But it is good for me to hold me fast by God.
