Description: This tune was first published in 1785 in collections by Oliver Brownson (who attributed it to Swan) and Daniel Bayley (who did not). It was widely republished, and was revised on p. 61 of Timothy Swan's own collection New England Harmony, Northampton, MA: 1801. Hymn Tune Index tune number 4523. Words by Isaac Watts, 1719, his paraphrase of Psalm 65, Part 2, in five stanzas.
