- Edition notes: The original order of parts is 2nd - 1st - [Instrumental bass] in the opening symphony, and Tenor - [Alto] - Treble - [Bass] - [Instrumental bass] thereafter. The alto part is printed in the source in the treble clef, an octave above sounding pitch: the second part of the concluding symphony is given on the tenor stave in the source, but is given on the alto stave in the present edition at the same written pitch. 1st and 2nd time bar markings at bars 33-34 have been added editorially to accommodate the repeat and concluding symphony which are shown in the source. Verses 2-4 of the text are printed after the music in the source.
