Description: Transcribed from the Trent manuscript tr89. The time signatures, keys, notes’ values, accidentals and colourings are as in the manuscript. Where the time signature is missing the signature within square brackets is assumed from the context. In the “tempus perfectum” the coloured notes groups containing minims are in “proportio sesquialtera” (3 vs. 2), the other ones are “hemiolæ” while in the “tempus imperfectum” they are always in “proportio sesquialtera”. In the Benedictus the section of the Superius beginning with the number “3” is in “proportio sesquialtera". The notes’ values within the “ligaturæ” are as follows: the left upstemmed notes are semibreves – the unstemmed notes are breves – the right downstemmed notes are longæ – the unstemmed notes with a double length body are maximæ. The “musica ficta” suggestions are in the MIDI and the MusicXML files.
