Stetit Jesus in medio discipulorum
et dixit eis: Pax vobis.
Alleluia.
Videte manus meas et pedes meos,
quia ego ipse sum.
Alleluia.
Gavisi sunt discipuli
viso Domino.
Alleluia.

English translation

Iesvs came and stoode in the middes,
and saith to them, Peace be to you.

[Behold my hands and feet,
for it is I.]

The disciples therfor vvere glad
vvhen they savv our Lord. (Rheims New Testament, 1582)

Jesus stood in the midst of his disciples,
and said to them: Peace be to you,
alleluia.
See my hands and my side,
