I believe there are two separate pieces by Josquin titled In Te, Domine, Speravi.

The one here uses macaronic text. I have seen references elsewhere to the existence of this text:

However, the version I have sung has entirely Latin text and is musically an entirely different song. That's the one referenced in the lyrics provided by Bill Mahrt's St. Ann's choir at http://www.cpdl.org/wiki/index.php/ChoralWiki:Translations/St._Ann_Choir#48._IN_TE.2C_DOMINE.2C_SPERAVI_Josquin_d.27Ascanio

Is there (or should there be) an indication for when the text language is macaronic? If so, should it indicate which two or more languages are involved somehow? And does it need an icon flag?

The answer to your three questions is "yes". In such cases we use template Text in the following manner: {{Text|2|Latin|Italian}}, {{Text|3|Latin|Italian|French}} etc. —Carlos mail_icon.gif 02:02, 27 July 2008 (PDT)
Perfect, thanks. Now that my question has been answered and you even beat me to making the edit (thanks for that too), what's the etiquette for the talk page? At what point does the discussion get deleted, and does the user asking the question do that or should that be a decision left to admins? Totally resolved as far as I'm concerned and I'm happy to delete it myself but I believe that would leave a blank page. --Vaarky 06:18, 27 July 2008 (PDT)
Hi Vaarky, as far as I'm concerned, talk pages are never deleted here at CPDL (with one exception being those created by spammers) because it's always good to keep a record of what has been discussed. Besides, your initial message contains some valuable info about two different versions of this work, that could be of help in the future. But if you find a page that should be deleted anyway, you may add to the top of it the code {{delnow}}, and an admin will take care of it for you. Thank you. —Carlos mail_icon.gif 06:35, 27 July 2008 (PDT)
