Talk:Magnificat and Nunc dimittis in C (Maurice Greene)

This is a great piece, so thanks for posting. Glancing through this edition without having a source with which to compare it, the following stood out:

Bar 34: T first note should be A, not F

Bar 67: Tr I penultimate note should be G, not A

Bar 78: T last note should be D or F, not C

Bar 90: Tr II 3rd note should be E, not C

Bar 98: B II should be G, not F

Bars 97-8: LH should follow revised BII

Bar 110: T I last note should be C without tie

Reduction: a number of infelicities! Nevertheless, the piece could/should probably be accompanied, but in a simpler, continuo style.

For some reason this piece was riddled with errors. This is the third such list I have seen. I hope the slapdash attitude isn't common to my other editions. Solutions to bars 67, 90, 98, 110 are correct and are now reflected in a revised pdf. Bar 78 comment obscure; is the reference correct? Bar 34 agrees with the source (although, your solution is arguably preferable) - not amended. I too dislike the reduction. Cjshawcj (talk) 19:08, 14 December 2013 (UTC)
