Attribution of the doxology in Nunc dimittis
When watching this video in Youtube I noticed that its author attributes the doxology following the Nunc dimittis to w:Thomas Roseingrave (Gloria in G minor). Can anyone please confirm this? The two editions here available say nothing about him being the composer, implying that the doxology was also a Purcell's work. Thanks, —Carlos

- Purcell would most likely have repeated the Gloria to the Magnificat. According to my Grove 1980, a copy in York contains this Gloria and attributes it to 'Mr Roseingrave, junior'. This has been attributed to Ralph Roseingrave (c. 1695-1747) who was Thomas's younger brother. There is a modern edition by Maurice Bevan first published in 1968 which many choirs would use. Possible Error?
