- Edition notes: The original order of parts is 2nd - 1st - [Instrumental bass] in the opening instrumental symphony, and Tenor - [Alto] - Treble - [Bass] - [Instrumental bass] thereafter. The alto voice part is given in the treble clef an octave above sounding pitch in the source. Subsequent symphonies are given on the voice staves, with the second treble-range part printed on the tenor stave at the same pitch as given in this edition (i.e. these have not been transposed by an octave in transcription). Verses 9-10 of the text are underlaid in the source, and verses 11-12 are printed after the music.
