Dulcis Amica Dei

The PDF for Fresi-Dulcis Amica Dei needs help. The registration of the notes is not quite right with respect to the staff, and somewhere around measure 20 it becomes almost impossible to figure out what notes are intended. For example, in measure 20 is the soprano line C natural, B natural, A flat (which seems pretty unlikely) or B natural, A natural, G (which seems even worse depending on how the other parts are interpreted). In the tenor line, measure 19, is the second note C natural or B natural? (In this case, surely B natural). In the bass line, measure 19, is the first note B flat or A flat? --Rtcutler 20:19, 18 June 2006‎

FILE DISCREPANCY:

This is the Fabio Fresi page in CPDL: Fabio Fresi

This is the link from that page if you click the PDF sign next to Ave Maria: http://www.choralwiki.org/wiki/images/sheet/fres-avm.pdf

On the work page of the Ave Maria by Fresi, Ave Maria (Fabio Fresi), there is a different link http://www.choralwiki.org/wiki/images/b/b1/Fresi-avem.pdf and it points to a file that is slightly different from the one above. (see e.g. measure 7 in alto2 line)

This is probably a revision by the composer. However, there is no indication of the discrepancy or the revision history in the pages.

The PDF file link on the composer page has now been updated to reflect the newer edition. Thanks for pointing out the discrepancy. – Chucktalk Giffen 23:31, 5 May 2011 (CDT)

Is there any contact information on file for Fabio Fresi? I have someone asking me because they want to include Fabio Fresi's Ave Maria on a CD, and they have not received a response to the email they sent via his website. (www.fabiofresi.com - fresi79 [ a t ] tiscali.it

Welcome back

Hello Fabio, welcome back to CPDL. Thank you for uploading the revised versions of your Alleluia and Ave Regina coelorum. The uploaded files were lacking a file extension (.pdf in this case). I have added the extension for you, but next time please remember to double check the filenames.

On another subject, I suppose that Valla79 is your old username, correct? In the case you have forgotten your password, would you like to recover it? If you prefer to stick to this current username, I can merge the old account into this one. Grazie, —Carlos (talk) 01:31, 29 May 2014 (UTC)

P.S.: As you will notice, I brought to this page some old messages addressed to you that were on your composer page. Regards, —Carlos (talk) 02:08, 29 May 2014 (UTC)

Replying to others

Hi Fabio, you can reply to others in the same manner that you replied to me: click on their username, go to their "discussion" pages and start a new topic.

Valla79 is the username you chose to keep, right? Regards, —Carlos Email.gif 16:55, 29 May 2014 (UTC)

Withdrawal of works

Ciao Fabio,

There are two ways that you can ask for the withdrawal of your works: one is by placing the following code at the top of each works page that you want removed: {{subst:delete|withdrawn at the composer's request}}

Alternatively, you may list here the titles that need to be removed, and an admin will remove them for you.

To add new works, please go to your composer page and start the process by clicking on the "Add new work" tab at the top of that page. Regards, —Carlos (talk) 11:45, 28 July 2016 (UTC)

Ciao Fabio! The works selected by you were withdrawn as requested, and all related files deleted. Saluti, —Carlos (talk) 04:09, 30 July 2016 (UTC)
