tal che sin a l'uscita
si poss'il viver vostro chiamar vita,
fugit'ira et dolor più che potete
ne vi pigliat'il mio consigli'a scherzo
che oltra che sia breve,
incert'e frale questa vita mortale,
chi non sta lieto non ne viv'il terzo

Gioir e vita vera qual vive da prudente
che gode del presente
ne cangia la mattina per la sera
e mal grado del ciel e de pianeti
