Auf! es dunkelt; silbern funkelt
Dort der Mond ob Tannenhöh'n!
Auf! und tanzt in froher Runde;
Diese Stunde
Dämmert unbewölkt und schön!
Im Gewässer strahlen blässer
Felsen, deren Rot verblich;

Schroffer Schneegebirge sich.
