Hi all,

Due to the importance of Psalm settings in choral music, I decided to add multilingual text pages for all psalms. Yesterday, a basic template for Psalms was added. about a dozen psalm pages have been completed, but there is a need to complete all of them. If anyone has access to the old Vulgate version, the King James version, or the Luther translation, and would like to help out, it would be appreciated. to get an idea of how things should appear, visit a completed page such as Psalm 1 or Psalm 100. Thanks!

Best regards,

P.S. There are now 700 text/translation pages, 100 added in the past three days!

P.P.S. If you're adding any psalms from the Vulgate - Latin bible - please note the CPDL Psalm pages are using the Hebrew numbering, so occasionally the corresponding Vulgate number will be one or two less. See Psalms for a full explanation, or see Psalm 51 for an example of putting the Vulgate Psalm 50 against the KJV of Psalm 51. Also, you might want to have a look at sacred-texts.com which has a very large repository of public domain texts, including the Vulgate, KJV, Septuagint (Greek) and Hebrew bibles... – Philip Legge, sometime CPDL editor :)
