Biography

Born in Verona in 1967 he studied music (piano, singing and composition) and completed his diplomas in Choral Music and Choral Conducting, Singing and Didactics of Singing at the conservatories of Verona, Trent and Mantua. Specialized subsequently in Baroque Singing under the guidance of Cristina Miatello, he collaborated with various groups specializing in early music (Baroque Ensemble Agostino Steffani, University Orchestra Trent, Antiqua Camerata Veneta) and with musicians as Matteo Messori, Sergio Vartolo, William Matteuzzi, Harry van der Kamp and Cristina Miatello. He recorded the Weihnachtshistorie by Heinrich Schütz with Cappella Augustana and L'Orfeo by Claudio Monteverdi with Sergio Vartolo, both for Brilliant Classics. He's musical conductor of the choir Amici della Musica; with this ensemble he competed at Festival de Chorales du Pays d'Aix (France, 2004), at Festival Les Choralies (Corsica, 2005 & 2014) and Music Festival in Appenheim (Germany, 2006) and Bologna Valsamoggia (2014). He's also conductor of the String Ensemble "Amici della Musica".
