Huc ô sydeream cœlites buccinam, huc ô Davidicam pastores fistulam,
pastores fistulis cœlites buccinis amoris inclytas cantent victorias,
amor ætheream corripit pharetram, arcu aggreditur omnipotentiam,
sessorem Cherubim in animalium confixum spiculis jecit præsepium.
Tum Dei surripit fulmen e dextera et sceptrum corripit quo regit omnia,
qui via lacte a cinxerat æthera captivum tenera detinet fascia,
mox ponit terminum tibi immensitas dat et principium tibi
æternitas te cogit perpeti impassibilitas te docet e mori:
ô immortalitas, ignis æthereus jam riget frigore indigent pauperes cœli divitiæ,
panis cœli tuum fame affligitur, et fons perpetuus siti perimitur,
ne quæstus resonent Deo perpetuum, quod nunquam siluit, tollit eloquium,
et verbum quo Pater loquitur omnia jubet mutescere Matris ad ubera.
Hæc inter cœlitum plorat, plorat lætitia, et fundunt parvula genulis
lumina quas virgo roseis colliget labiis, dum piis genulas exsiccat basiis,
triumphos celebrat tandem convivio, agnellum Virgo dat cum pane,
cum pane cœlico, engaddum massica fons novus balsama
