I. Jam sol recedit igneus,
tu lux perennis unitas,
nostris beata trinitas,
infunde amorem cordibus.

Te mane laudum carmine,
te deprecamur vespere,
digneris, ut te supplices,
laudemur inter coelites.

Patri simulque filio,
tibique sancte spiritu,
sicut fuit, sit jugiter,
saeclum per omne gloria.
Amen.

II. Salvete flores martyrum
in lucis ipso limine
quos saevus ensis mesuit
ceu turbo nascentes rosas.

Grex immolatorum tener
 aram sub ipsam simplices
palma et coronis luditis
quo proficit tantum nefas
quid crimen Harodem juvat?

Unus tot inter funera
impune Christus tollitur.
Cunae redundant sanguine
sed in Deum frustra furit,
unum petit tot mortibus
mortes tot unus effugit.

Inter coaevi sanguinis
fluenta solus integer
ferum quod orbabat nurus
partus fefelit virginis.

Matres querelis parcite,
quid rapta fletis pignora ?
Agnum salutis obsidem
denso sequuntur agmine.
