Description: Based on Heinrich Isaac's Innsbruck, ich muss dich lassen, published 1555.
Paul Gerhardt is not the composer; he is only the lyricist. On the other hand, it is perhaps misleading to call Heinrich Isaac the composer, since he had already been dead for 130 years at the time the song was written. At that time, all one had to do when printing the song was to note: "Mel. O welt / ich muß dich lassen." Therefore, Traditional was chosen as composer.
