Other arrangements of the William Kirkpatrick tune for Away in a manger have been placed on Away in a manger (William Kirkpatrick). This should probably be placed there, too. -- Chucktalk Giffen♫ 20:33, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
- I've just had a look at the other arrangements and some of them seem to be completely new compositions instead or mere harmonizations. I'd suggest we do the other way around: move arrangements that are clearly new works based on the tune to their own pages. —Carlos

- Every edition listed on Away in a manger (William Kirkpatrick) contains (or refers to) the Kirkpatrick tune "Cradle Song". However, it just so happens that three of the externally hosted sites also list arrangements or versions by different composers, two using the familiar tune "Mueller" (see Away in a manger (James R. Murray)), and one an arrangement of music by George Careless. I have documented these on both the the Kirkpatrick and Murray pages (and interlinked them). Since the present edition is an SAB arrangement of the Kirkpatrick "Cradle Song" tune, I still think it might be advisable to merge this page with the other page. -- Chucktalk Giffen♫ 14:51, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
