Some write : compostion not of Lassus.. other 'dubious', 19th century.. It appears that two different scores are in discussion. A simple SATB setting, which might well be 19the century and a very intricate polyphonic setting, which certainly is by Lassus...

Score should be rewrited, using an other placement of lyrics : the first verse 'mon coeur se recommande à vous' is pronounced : 'mon coeur se recommand'à vous', which is only 8 syllables, strictly corresponding with first musical part of thema. tryalof (Fr) 17 june 2006

Errors noted in Monique Rio's edition

m.25 Basse, nn.2-3 should be g, not f m.28 Sop 2, n.2 should be a, not b(flat)

The ficta suggested at m.9 tenor (e flat) can't be right.
