Text by Heinrich Heine
Translation (by a native German):
Any night I see you in my dreams, and I see you greeting cordially, and crying loudly I collapse at your sweet feet.
You look at me with melancholy, and shake your blonde sweet head; out of your head creep the tinny drips of the pearly tears.
You whisper intimately one word to me, and give to me the bouquet of cypresses. I wake up, and the bouquet has gone, And the word - I have forgotten it.
