Arise...
1.
Shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord has appeared.
For darkness shall cover the earth,
and deep, thick darkness the peoples.
2.
The Lord will arise upon you,
and his glory will be seen around you.
For nations shall come to your light,
and kings to your dawning brightness.
3.
Lift up your eyes and look around;
they all gather together, they come;
your sons are brought from afar,
your daughters nursed at your side.
4.
You shall see and be radiant,
your heart shall thrill and rejoice,
for the sea's abundance shall be brought to you,
and the wealth of the nations.
5.
Riches from Midian and Ephah,
and the camels of Sheba shall come;
they shall bring you gold and frankincense,
and proclaim the praise of the Lord.
