Born: 1642

Died: 1716

Biography

Born in Geldern, Netherlands, he entered the convent of the Carmelites in Boxmeer under his religious name Father Benedict a Sancto Josepho, where he remained for the rest of his life as titularis and organist. Buns wrote motets, dialogues for vocal and instrumental ensemble, instrumental sonatas, litanies and masses.
