der Gutzgauch der war hübsch und fein.

The Cuccould sat on a fence
Guck, guck, guck
sang the cuccould on the roof
The rain did fall and he got wett.

And then came the sunnlight
Guck, guck, guck
as the sunnlight came
and the cuccould got dry and fine.

And then he did swing his feathers
guck, guck, guck
He swang his feathers
to fly away across the sea.
