2:1  Dum complerentur dies Pentecostes, erant omnes in eodem

2:2  et factus est repente de caelo sonus tanquam spiritus vehementis, et replevit totam domum, ubi erant sedentes.


2:3  Et apparuerunt illis dispertitae linguae ignis seditque super singulos eorum:

2:4  et repleti sunt omnes Spiritu Sancto et caeperunt loqui variis linguis
magnalia Dei.

John 20:19  Dum ergo essent in unum discipuli congregati, propter metum iudæorum

2:2  sonus repente de coelo venit super eos, tamquam spiritus vehementis, et replevit totam domum.

2:1  And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2:2  And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.


2:3  And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

2:4  And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues,
about the great works of God.

John 20:19  When therefore the disciples were gathered together in one for fear of the Jews,

2:2  a sound from heaven came upon them, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
