Ecco il dardo col qual mi punse Amore
e sparse in un bel coll'il puro sangue,
che di pietade trema s'apr'e langue.

Nel lato manco egli mi diede il colpo,
a voi il dimostro amant'iniqua sorte
per segno è verità della mia morte.

E questo è Amor che fu ver me crudele,
chiedendo a lui mercè perche mi togli
vita s'io chieggio in tua graia mi vogli.

Non satio ancor l'alma volse vedere
da questo corpo fuor in terra lasso
