Latin text Finem qui quaeris amoris - cedit amor rebus - res age, tutus eris. Quaeritur: Aegisthus quare sit factus adulter? In promptu causa est: desidiosus erat.

German text Suchst Du ein Ende der Liebe - die Liebe weicht der Arbeit - so arbeite und du bist sicher. Die Frage ist: Warum wurde Ägisth zum Ehebrecher? Der Grund liegt auf der Hand: Weil er müßig war.

English text He who seeks the end of love - love flees work - work and you'll be safe. The question is: Why Aegisthus became an adulterer? In this case: Because he was lazy.
