Life
Born: 11 June 1697
Died: 10 January 1780
Biography
Born in Vercelli, Italy. Became a Franciscan in 1716, ordained in 1720. In 1722 he became an organist at St. Antonio in Padua,and maestro di capella there in 1730, serving until his death. Best known for his system of well temperament.
