1 Gott, führ mein Sach und richte mich, unheilig Volk bestreite!
Errette mich genädiglich von falschen, bösen Leuten,
Herr, mein Zuversicht, verstoß mich doch nicht, laß mich nicht hülflos
in Schmerz und Trauren groß, wenn mich mein Feind bedränget.
2 Send mir das Licht der Wahrheit dein, zu gehn auf deinen Wegen,
leit mich zur lieben Christeng'mein, daß ich empfang den Segen
und zu dir, Herr, komm, hab groß Freud und Wonn, so will ich fröhlich
auf Harfen loben dich, o Gott, mein treuer Herre.
3 Was betrübst du dich, meine Seel, hast Unruh früh und spate?
Harr nur auf Gott, all'm Ungefäll weiß er gar wohl zu raten,
zuletzt ich ihm noch werd danksagen hoch, daß er mein Gott ist,
mir hilft zu aller Frist durch seine große Gnade.
