Life

Born: 1865

Died: 1935

Biography: Born in Essen (Ruhr)/Germany. Vocal-Teacher at the "Realgymnasium" Essen. 1894-1935 Chorus master of the Protestant Church Choir Essen-Altstadt. Founder of the Essen Bach-Choir. In 1906 he became "Königlicher Musikdirektor" (Royal Music Director). Editor and composer of organ and choir music. Died in Essen.
